Ben Re, a mechanical engineer and custom car and motorcycle shop proprietor, and Michael Tyree a well respected musician, plumber, and brewer, began Kentucky Top Props in early 2024. It started when they were asked to procure a few cars and motorcycles for a pilot episode of a series being shot in central Kentucky by a Kentucky based production company. After the filming was completed, they both realized that the Kentucky film industry did not have a quality prop house, and none that could also provide vehicles, custom made and odd props.

The two of them have an excess of both cars, motorcycles, props, and the ability to procure just about anything from their extensive network of business associates and friends. With that, they both decided to form an all inclusive prop house to satisfy all of their customer needs.
